Instructions to make Shakshuka:

  1. Chop 1 onion and a tomato and green chilies finely, take another tomato and grind it into purey..
  2. Add 2tbs oil in a pan, add jeera 2tbs, then add chopped onion and tomato and saute.
  3. After onion turn pink add masalas – 1/2 tbs Coriander powder,1/2 tbs turmeric powder, 1/2 tbs chilli powder and mix.
  4. Add tomato purey and mix well, let it cook on simmer, add salt and mix..
  5. Make space for eggs in the purey, break one egg and drop it in the space, repeat for all 4 eggs..
  6. Cover the pan and cook for 5-10mins. Season with Coriander and serve..
